Zipp make some of the fastest rims available, making them a perfect candidate for some of the fastest wheels available.

Unlike most of my builds I am only able to offer Zipp wheelsets in a limited number of permutations. They are all still built here but they must have CX-Ray spokes and they must have Tune Mig 70/Mag 170 hubs.

Pre-built Zipp wheelsets come with Zipp hubs. If you get your Zipp wheelsets through me you are able to have Tune hubs instead of the standard Zipp hubs. Zipp wheels are built to 110kgf maximum. With Tune this is slightly higher.

All of the following wheelsets are built here at DCR using a Sapim calibrated tension meter and a P&K Lie special 250 truing stand.

Wheelset options are as follows:

Tubular (£2269)
Zipp 202 18h front, 24h rear
Zipp 303 Firecrest 18h front, 24h rear
Zipp 404 Firecrest 16h front, 20h rear

Clincher (£2559)
Zipp 202 Firecrest 18h front, 24h rear
Zipp 303 Firecrest 18h front, 24h rear
Zipp 404 Firecrest 16h front, 20h rear

Prices quoted are for black spokes and coloured nipples. Once you have chosen from the rim options listed, you can choose Campagnolo or Shimano compatibility on the hubs. You can choose your hub colour, spoke colour and nipple colour. All wheelsets will be laced radially at the front, 2 cross on the rear both sides and come with Tune skewers. Lead time on these wheelsets is 3-5 weeks. A free collect and return service is also offered after 6 weeks if you wish to have the wheels checked over.

I have been given special permission to build these wheels, which means that they still come with the Zipp warranty. In addition you have a standard Tune warranty and I will warranty the build and spokes against failure. Please note that if you already have Zipp rims or a wheelset and you wish me to build them onto Tune hubs, this will invalidate your Zipp warranty.

While the build is capable of tolerating more, I am not prepared to sell these wheelsets to riders over 100kg. If you weigh over 100kg and want to purchase a set of high-end carbon wheels I suggest a set of ENVE wheels with Chris King hubs where there is no rider weight limit (within reason).
