DCR wheels is a team of wheelbuilders who collectively share decades of building experience.
Please note visits to the workshop are by appointment only; if you are local and would like to visit just get in touch via email and we can make you an appointment.
We can take a little while to reply – typically replies are given Monday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. The workshop is open Monday-Friday 1200-1800 but does not accept incoming phone calls. We endeavor to answer all initial enquiries within 48 hours. If you have not received a response within 4 days, please do not feel dejected ~ David is probably just very busy building! If your query is urgent, please mark it as urgent.

New Wheelsets
DCR wheels is a team of wheelbuilders who collectively share decades of building experience. We build wheels here in the UK because it’s the right way to do it; it is versatile, it preserves the skills, it drastically lowers the shipping footprint (vs shipping completed wheelsets on mass around the world), its special, you have local support where you need it and we can quickly respond to changes in the market as required. The number of permutations we can undertake here is almost limitless.
We can build you a wheelset to suit your specifications that will often out-perform well known brands, at a competitive price.
Repairs
As of November 2025, DCR Wheels will no longer service/repair wheels from other manufacturers
Over the years, we’ve spent considerable time repairing wheels built by other manufacturers – often wheels that are still under warranty or should be supported by the original supplier. We believe manufacturers have a responsibility to stand behind their products with proper aftermarket support. When they don’t, it creates an unfair burden on independent wheelbuilders like us who are then expected to solve problems.
