These wheels are designed with one thing in mind; strength.

They are designed to have ultimate strength in the rims, hubs and spokes. The spokes are thicker than usual at the J-Bend for a tighter fit in the hubs, which have extra bearings, steel axles and freehubs for ultimate carrying capacity. The rims have thick spoke beds, and their extra width means extra air in your tyres – that also means greater comfort, lower pressure and better grip. These wheels are available with two rim widths: 32mm and 36mm. You can also customise the freehub body and axle length.

Tough DCR Rims in 32mm or 36mm Internal Widths

The two versions of our E-Bike rim offer excellent strength and good MTB tyre profiles. The 32mm internal rims are well suited to tyres up to 2.4 inches wide. The 36mm internal rims are well suited to They both have a welded joint, an extra tough spoke bed, competitive weight and nice matt finish owing to a shot blasting and anodising treatment (anodised internally and externally), they have a rider weight limit of 180kg and a spoke bed that has been tested to over 300kgf. There is a bead locking system and 1.2mm hook for compatibility with all tubeless MTB tyres. Their internal profile and deep central channel ensures easier installation and removal of tyres.

Spokes And Nipples

The Sapim Force spoke is the obvious choice for this set, to provide excellent ride quality and for an extra strong wheel. Using Sapim’s double square brass nipples and our nipple/spoke prep means that there are no doubts whatsoever as to their durability and strength. We provide a lifetime warranty on the build/spokes.

Critically the Force spokes are thicker at the J-Bend than most common spokes. Most double butted spokes are 2.0mm at each end and 1.8mm in the central section to provide some comfort. The Force is a triple butted spoke, being 2.2mm at the elbow, 1.8mm in the middle and 2.0mm at the threads, to suit common nipples. Their thick elbow means they fit nice and tightly into the hub (which is drilled at 2.6mm), leading to fewer vibrations and less fatigue from stress from the thousands of stress-cycles they go through in their lifetime.

Extra High Load Bearing Hubs

The set comes with our own brand heavy duty, 6-bolt IS hubs with their weather treated bearings for high performance and excellent longevity/serviceability. These heavy duty hubs come with extra bearings – making a total of four bearings in the front and six in the rear – plus steel axles and freehub for ultimate carrying capacity and torque transfer. Boost hubs are also available for this wheelset.

Available Specifications:

All options available with any freehub. The 32mm rims are available in 700c/29″ only, whereas the 36mm internal rims are available in both 650b/27.5″ and 700c/29″.
